Jwala Devi Vidya Mandir P.G. College believes that the key to success always lies in continuously reinventing itself and thus the institution restructures both its curriculum as well as governing policies.Thus the college is seeking to ensure access, equity and excellence to enable our students to meet the challenges of the new millennium through expansion of ICT equipped audio-visual teaching methods, to boost learners’ knowledge retention and interest levels and modernization of classes by converting them into Smart Classes. The Institution has recently launched Project Samarthaya,a programme of enhancing capabilities and competencies in the students through upgradation of their skill and knowledge, to keep in pace with the fast growing world of technology.

The Institution has already initiated the phase I of the Project Samarthya, by recently completing the construction of fully equipped Smart Auditorium . The Institution is committed to cater to higher education of the under privileged gender at the under graduate and post-graduate level by imparting holistic education through advancing the frontiers of knowledge to ignite an inquisitive mind, inculcate the skills to achieve excellence, realize the nuances in research, seek and deal with challenges and carve out a niche for self.

OUR FOUNDER

A Witness to the Freedom Struggle, a Great Scholar, Smt. Jwala Devi, who dedicated her entire life to the great sacrifice of the hundred-year-long journey of Jwala Devi Vidya Mandir, was a socially conscious woman. She believed that an educated woman in society plays a major role in the development of a disciplined and characterful citizen. Smt. Jwala Devi was a thoughtful, visionary, and highly dedicated scholar who was sensitive to women’s education. During the freedom movement, she proved to be a milestone in the field of women’s education by giving prominence to the national education policy under the non-cooperation movement launched by the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. She lived her life as a strong advocate, promoting women’s education along with her Vedic values and traditions.
